Welcome to my world
Hello, kia ora, talofa, malo e lelei, nǐ hăo, salut, ciao, hallo, ohayô gozaimasu, annyǒng hashimnikka, Добрый день, สวัสดีครับ , sanibonani and g'day!
Unfortunately I don't speak all these languages but I thought I would make everyone feel welcome. Okay so maybe not every language is listed but I wouldn't want to take up the entire page with "Hello's".
So, this is it, my small slice of the internet pie coming to you from New Zealand.
Why create a website?
There's really only two reasons why I have done a website for myself
- I believe any web designer or wannabe developer should have a site to promote themselves and their work.
- It's a good area to practice and learn any HTML, CSS or PHP skills I have or that I can expand upon.
What's inside
It may not be the biggest website you have seen but I hope you find something of interest in here.
- Home - where you are now
- About - A little about GWD
- My CV - My curriculum vitae
- Galleries - Some photos of my travels
- RSS - Some random RSS feeds from various places
- Extras - Any extra stuff I find interesting or useful (suggestions are welcome though)
- Links - Links to other interesing and useful websites, tutorials, forums, coding help etc
- Contact - How you can contact me
- ...there are other pages in here but you'll come across these as you wander through this website.

Despite its small size it is crammed with magnificent natural beauty and has an incredible amount to offer; the only complaint travellers have is that they haven't allowed enough time in the country.
Fresh air, breathtaking scenery and outdoor activities are the main attractions of New Zealand, with a tremendously friendly, honest and helpful population, colloquially nicknamed after their country's distinct symbol, the unusual but amiable flightless kiwi bird...read on
Hope you enjoy your visit, drop me a line and let me know what you think. I'm always interested to hear how I can improve things. Even bad comments might be welcome...gulp!
