So what is Gecko Web Design?
Well to be honest it's not really a 'what' it's more of a 'who' is Gecko Web Design.
The 'who' is easy, Gecko Web Design (GWD) was created early 2002 by Chris Phillips while living in the United Kingdom. I couldn't think of any other names and I do like Geckos and web design...hence Gecko Web Design was born.
GWD isn't a company by any means, just myself and my PC and or Mac. Sure I design and create websites but these are mainly for friends or family members.
I get enough web design & development work through full-time employment so after hours and weekends is the only time I get to play with other web related work.
If you have already seen my CV, you would have noticed my work background is in travel until recently where I have gained employment at The University of Auckland as the Web Content Team Leader.
I've been fortunate enough to travel to various places around the world, work for some great companies and along side some very talented people.

About New Zealand | Introduction
New Zealand, 'Land of the Long White Cloud', is a small, sparsely populated country consisting of two major islands, North and South Island, and a scattering of smaller ones.
